New stories and awareness

Yesterday we had a blessed day, Barry preached on "what is the story of your life" and what do we allow to define the story of our lives, and that perhaps there is a possibility of a new story if we were tuned into the voice of God-aware that He often speaks in a still small voice.
I spoke in the evening on "living in awareness"- being present to the moment, allowing our senses to be present even in the ordinariness of our lives- that this could make a difference to our own lives, the lives of others and to the Kingdom of God.
Barry lead us through a very special time of communion when we were aware of each other and of the truth that we carry with us in the clay pots of our lives a treasure -His name is Jesus.
We had much to think of at the end of the day....
See you next week at worship

  2. talking about awareness... I visited the flower arranging committee this morning at their meeting and came away more aware of the work they do. I wonder how often we take the flowers in church for granted...

every day is an opportunity for a growing awareness!
