Faith Jar......

I wanted to take this opportunity to re-emphasize my jelly bean and sweet 'jar' story.

It has become evident lately that we are on one of the biggest roller coaster rides of our lives emotionally. Is that fair to say? Let's think about it...

Financially, times are tough... Mentally we're exhausted... Physically our bodies are pushed...over worked...no time for this and that...things around the house start to break or
dysfunction... our relationships seem to take strain from frustration of every other thing that life seems to throw at us.

So, now thinking of our lives as a 'jar' of sweets as our journey of faith with Christ, that has been filled up over the years through time we have invested in strengthening our faith. Yet when something not according to 'our' plan happens - unforeseen circumstances - we start doubting and going astray. Our 'jar' of sweets decreases and decreases. Slowly but surely and with the help of family, friends and a loving community and environment we get back on track - where our faith is strengthened once again and our 'jar' becomes full. The challenge is to keep it full!

One thing is for sure (which I personally believe we should focus on) is that God has never left, nor forsaken us. He will always love us and be our pillar of strength. Let's not forget who has invested in our lives right from the very beginning...

MICHELLE 
