Carol and Barry have ‘blogged’ quite a bit about last week’s theme, so let me not add similar thoughts, just one observation.
Mark 10:21: Jesus looked at him and loved him. The man’s asking about how to get into heaven and we know that his heart is in his riches. And Jesus loved him.
I need to hear that. However I come to Jesus, He loves me. With all my questions, He loves me. Even when my heart is not in the right place, He loves me.
However you come to him – whatever is going on in your life that is not healthy, no matter how ugly – Jesus loves you. Isn’t that great?!
