Loving God,
You know what I want and how I need
Will I be able to leave Worry behind?
Help me trust that the people and things I care for
are also things and people that You care for
Am I ready to stop comparing?
Help me celebrate all the things I enjoy - so joyfully -
that it drowns out the always voice of wanting
Do you think I have the courage to count the cost?
…carry the cross?
Help me to live more meaningfully
with less significance given to
how much I’ve given up for you…
You’ve given so much for me.
