ATTITUDE?
Does it make a difference ?
On Sunday night we listened to part of an interview with Bono from U2 who has sold millions (many millions) of CD’s and he speaks out courageously and with great passion on behalf of the poor who don’t have a voice in the world.
He could actually live a very selfish life –he obviously has enough money not to ever be dependant on anyone – but he has this amazing attitude –deep compassion and it was a blessing to sense his humility.
On Sunday morning Kevin Bolton (from our community) shared some of life experiences with us. As a young 9 year old boy, had an accident on his bicycle as a van touched the tip of his back tyre and we went through the air – was in a coma for months and was left partially paralysed on one side of his body.
Kevin keeps his eyes on Jesus and lives positively and is not bitter or grumpy at all – he knows his identity so well –he knows that he is a deeply loved child of God.
