(John 1:29-42)
One of the most helpful insights George Irvine offered us on Sunday was the observation that Jesus turns our questions into an invitation. Andrew (and the anonymous friend) ask "where do you live?" and Jesus responds "Come and see!".
George also noted that the word for "see" in the orignal text of John means illuminate - Jesus invites Andrew and the other disciple not just to come and follow, but to light up - to find clarity and understading...
