last night (sunday) we did a little skit asking "is this how it happened?" Did Jesus appear hardly touching the ground and talking in a Holy Voice...? Or were things a lot more natural? The disciples are caught off guard when Jesus asks what they are looking for?
"Where are you staying?" they stutter...
And he responds casually: "Come and see..."
The thing that struck me about this early sotry of Jesus' life was the common reaction: John sees Jesus and knows he is significant - so he tells someone. Andrew spends an afternoon with the Rabbi and (presumably) realises something of this man's significance - so he tells someone.
Are we willing to tell someone why we think Jesus is significant?
