Apparently, actor and funny man Robin Williams once said, “Spring is nature’s way of saying, ‘Let’s Party!’”
We couldn’t agree more, and as it has been proven in the past, St John’s doesn’t need much of an excuse to have a little get-together with good food, good music, great people and an atmosphere of great celebration.
So what more could we do than to cram September full of fantastic opportunities to have such a lekker celebration?
We kick-off with the screening of the rugby on Saturday 17th. A morning of Bokke, breakfast and bakkies-verf (face-painting?!?). Can you feel the excitement!? We do apologise however, as we couldn’t find any Kiwi-flavoured paint!
Later the same day we head upstairs for some quality live entertainment at the Spring Celebration. Come and see the various musicians and performers from across our community.
Along a similar vein, there’s the music morning on Wednesday 28th. All in aid of the Promised Land Pre-School, who are now a registered NGO nogal!
Then there’s also the quiz n!te on Friday 30th. Fancy your chances at some general knowledge? Then enter your team of four!
