SEEING JESUS MORE CLEARLY?

On Sunday we looked at the passage of Scripture in Matthew that tells of Jesus and three of his disciples on a mountain when they saw the glory of Jesus as they had not experienced it before – The question we ask is this – was Jesus transformed or did they really see Jesus more clearly than ever before?

Sometimes we are so sure, so clear and the reality of Jesus is something we know and yet there can be other moments when doubts just flood our very being.

What will help us? I eat cinnamon to keep my blood sugar even – but what will help us in our faith journey?

Drawing apart of all our frantic activities and finding time to be still will help – it’s a discipline we will look at in our groups this week, and then reflection – take time to reflect on our attitudes, behaviour and our priorities – I think that reflection on who we are and who we are becoming is a very useful study to make – and more about that next Sunday.
