Matthew 13 has some of the most interesting (and shortest) parables that Jesus preached.
when Jesus says the kingdom is like a mustard seed that becomes a tree that birds use to nest in, he's saying God sees immense potential in every created person (and thing).
that means we are very valuable in the kingdom of heaven (even if we are not perceived as valuable by those around us).
