Kerryn, Mxolisi, Zole, Brett and myself were at the airport early this morning to fly to Durban, so that we could attend a leadership conference led by Rev Adam Hamilton.
We hired a car at the airport and found our way to Pinetown Methodist Church who are hosting the Conference.
Adam is the senior pastor of the Church of the Resurrection in Kansas City. You can read things that he is writing on his blog: Seeing Gray and also get a sense of the church where he serves by visiting the church's website.
Today has been challenging as Adam has reflected on various principles of leadership as well as thoughts on being a church community that reaches out "beyond the walls" - helping people who are non-religious or nominally religious to become deeply committed Christians...

We are praying that this conference will be very beneficial for you as staff at the Potter's House and that this will flow into the community-leadership is so very important in so many different ways within a church community, and may this be a time of inspiration which will lead to living water flowing afresh amongst you...
