At the center of our community life are our meetings for worship on a Sunday. We have a variety of worship services which seek to cater for a variety of needs. We hope that everyone will find a place to connect with God in worship on a Sunday. We believe that God can change us in worship. Sometimes that happens in a special moment, but mostly God works gently with us - through a commitment to regular worship...
Our Sunday Services are as follows:
09:45 More traditional English worship, led by an organ and a choir
11:30 Traditional Worship in Xhosa, English and other languages, including the Siyakudumisa and other traditional liturgy
18:00 Contemporary Evening worship, led by a band
Midweek Wednesdays:
17:30 Communion and Healing, a gentle and reflective service of prayer and communion
Thinking of visiting?
Visitors are always welcome at our services and are encouraged to participate in all aspects of worship, including taking Holy Communion (if that happens to be part of the service on that particular Sunday). You will find a map to St John's here.
