Read Luke 17 verses 1 – 19
What is the kernel of truth that we learn from the story of the 10 lepers?
Thankfulness and gratitude?
That is real, of course, but looking at verse 5 – the disciples ask Jesus to “increase our faith!”
Perhaps this story is an answer to their question – Jesus tells the 10 lepers to show
themselves to the priest at the temple – one man could not do that – he was a Samaritan and
could not go into the temple!
Yet he turned and walked towards Jerusalem – taking a little step of faith – and he was
healed!
Friends, God has given this community a vision which will bring so much healing
and wholeness –let’s all take a little step of faith and allow our vision to become
a reality!
